A bit more moderation in the Web Hosting area perhaps?

I'm kinda sick of seeing many of the companies bumping themselves (when the rules say not to) and posting offers to requests years old, or not even reading the request, and just posting their %generic_offer_of_the_day, etc.

Ok, so I will admit I myself am trying to get into that business, and I have my own server here, hosting about 30 different domains for different customers, and I would like to use this forum as both a place to promote my business, and to exchange help with others, and I hope to become more active myself in trying to push my services once I am more confident in my setup, but I think it would be better for myself, and for all the users, if the web hosting forum had more active moderation.

I would be willing to do it myself if no one else is interested, just I wouldn't want the "conflict on interests" to become an issue.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for showing a real concern for the hosting forums. I know for a fact that the mod Monsterhosting is one of the more active mods we have. I am in contact with both hosting moderators and we are looking into whether we need any more moderation for the hosting forums.

If we do decide that we need more moderation I'll keep your name in mind.

Again thanks for the input and helping us make the forums the best they can be.

Charles
