A few things

1) If a mod asked me to reply back to them, HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I?

2) Why do mods slap you with warnings for breaking rules that do not exist? I got warned just for this:

"You are not allowed to say 'damn' in these boards"

Huh?

3) So after you make a post and a new rule is added you have to go back and fix it?

4) Damn, the load time on this is slow, I have a t3 connection, an dI have to wait for 30 seconds for the home page to load. Perhaps think about more sub-boards and less ads. One Flash ad I just got took up 10 megabytes...I feel bad for 56kers

1. You can make some helpful posts to get your postcount to ten and try again.

2. Context needed and there are per-board standards. You would get away with saying damn in some forums and not others. I have been unable to find a post you said damn in so I can't pass judgment.

3. Unless the mod already did, yes.

{Yes, you shouldn't use profanity if you can help it. I would say that the D word you used is a bit extreme. However, if it was something like "Damn this crappy site" then yes, I can see where they would frown upon that}

3.) Of course, becuase all rules here - there - anywhere are always relevant at all times. I personally keep a keen eye on what I write and how much I step over the rules.
{No, but the rules are there to be civil. What infraction did they actually lay on you? I mean it looks to me like it's a warning, not a ban.}

4.) 43Mbps, psh, whateva. Why not just use FF and install AdBlock. Or how about you click on every one of the ads, then when the companies are happy and DevShed is happy they wouldn't have anymore ads. Makes sense right?
{It's a free service, so I don't understand why you are complaining. Did you pay to sign up? No? Did you pay to post? No? Did you pay to whine about having to see ads and not paying? No.}

Moral of the story, be thankful that there is a place like this that you can come on here and offer insight into the programming language of your choice, and get help when you need it.

FFS it's a one point warning. Just because someone didn't like your choice of words. I've seen far worse in moderation around here so please QYB. It's not like you've been permanently banned for it. Besides, it goes away after a while.

1. - Help out in the forums and once your post count increases to 10, you'll be able to PM members/mods. Failing that, on the main page in the View Forum Leaders link, find the moderator who PM'd you and click on the button marked 'email' and you can then send an e-mail to the moderator.

2. - What rule did you not break ? From what I can tell you were were warned for a different issue than saying 'damn' and it's only a small warning, your warning points will be removed within 7 days.

3. - If not, a moderator of the forum will change this for you. As far as I am aware, no new 'rules' have recently been introduced and you have been warned for an existing rule.

4. - A T3 connection and it still takes 30seconds to load ? I think that may be a slight exaggeration. I have a 2mb connection and it will load fine in a couple of seconds for me.

looking at your posts i'd say you were coming quite close to spamming - your replies may have been relevant to the subject (i have no way of finding out apart from looking at your site which i won't), but the repeated mention of one particular website in different threads could raise some eyebrows (and possibly some hackles)

So basically, "I like the way how you have a bi-polar personality. Nice work."

Send us an email in this case (devshed@gmail.com). All moderators watch that account and have access to it. Or if you have a serious issue that moderators are in general unresponsive to, feel free to post a ticket on Developer Shed's esupport to get the issue raised with and (hopefully) resolved by the proper people.

That was a one-point warning (e.g., for something not very serious). While we see such language use as only a minor offense, continued such language can earn you harsher warnings (such as a temporary ban or further, at the discretion of the mods/admins).
