There is, it's called the Javascript Development forum. "AJAX" is just some stupid marking term. It's just basic javascript, making requests using the XMLHttpRequest object.

[edit] I hate the term "ajax".

I have never heard the term 'AJAX' for javascript before. When I seen the thread title, I thought it had something to do with the Dutch football club..........

Well, it's not just any old JS. It's Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. Impressive sounding, eh?
