There is is an out-of-topic post i answered days ago that a mod should have moved . Many of the questions appear unanswered.

It's certainly not a high-traffic forum, but questions are asked and answered there.
Did you report the thread to the mod? (That would be Scorpions4ever)

Yeah, the forum is used. If some of the questions are lying unanswered, then it could be that there isn't an answer available - not everything can be answered.
Anyway, moderators can't always read all the posts that appear in the forums they moderate, and if one post needed moving to another forum, it would be appreciated if you could notify us and we'll gladly do so. ![]() |

Moved from the Lounge to Suggestions & Feedback.
[off-topic] Cue the "BSD is dying" trolls ...[/off-topic] [on-topic] aitken325i basically said what I wanted to say. It's not exactly the highest-traffic forum, but it is used and people do help each other. If you reported the thread and no action has been taken after a few days, please PM one of the mods of that forum (in this case, Scorpions4ever) and poke them about it. If that doesn't get any attention for another few days, file a ticket on Esupport. That's my general rule of thumb, anyway ![]() [/on-topic]

Think it's meant as a reference to the original post, Ax.

That is definately on the agenda with the slashdot crowd. Especially since the BSD dude launched his "linux is for loosers" attack. |

BSD isn't dying, just that most of the people that use it have half a clue about what they're doing to the point that they generally don't break things, know how to fix them when they do break or spend hours reading up the man pages about things.
The very few who do post a question in the BSD forum usually get a good answer, it's one of the ones i look in whenever i see an unanswered thread. Unfortunately, with M. Hirsch gone there is only Scorpions4Ever with moderator priveleges in there and given the amount of forums he moderates and how easy it is to miss a thread in one, you can surely see how this might happen.
