Auto-URL Parsing broken.
The option to automatically parse links in the text into URL's doesn't seem to be working for me. For example, here's a list of various URLs
http://www.php.net/ http://www.google.com/ http://www.aoeex.com:8008/extras/ None of them are parsed into links automatically, even though the option is checked for them to be parsed. Instead I have to always wrap a [ url ] tag around them in order for it to work as a clickable link.

Makes sense. Perhaps the option should be removed from the posting page then?

I might if I used firefox. I still use the suite, it's more convinent. Anyway, I've gotten used to wrapping URL's into the [ url ] tag anyway now.
I still suggest that the checkbox be removed from the list of options. It can be confusing to people to see a checkbox 'Automatically parse links in text' that is checked, yet does not do what it is supposed to do. If the feature is disabled, it'd make sense to either remove the feature's checkbox, or default to a disabled, off state. |
