Automatically parse links in text?
What does the "automatically parse links in text" button do? If it's supposed to do what I think, I don't think it's working:

It was disabled to hinder spammers. The admins've since implemented
the ol' "nofollow" on links so I guess they could re-enable the auto link parser thingy... I'll submit a ticket and see if we can get it fixed... <edit> submitted

Neat! I know a few people in the C forum this will definitely come in handy for.

So how do you switch it off.
I know you can when you are doing a full post. But I use quick-post most of the time....

maybe it defeats the object of the exercise somewhat, but clicking the edit button after you've quick-posted gives you the option to switch it off |

Exactly
![]() I don't have a problem with it as such, but is seems to parse urls in code blocks automatically too - seems to make code displays a bit weird... I use a BBCode extension for Fx so I don't need to fully "post" posts unless I actually need to edit them... |

Test for me too (link posted in C forum):
http://forums.devshed.com/c-programming-42/yet-another-delegates-events-in-pure-c-implementation-368120.html Hmm, did you guys turn it off again? It doesn't seem to be working any more. |
