Better ignore system?

Why is it that I can still see people on my ignore list when they agree/disagree with my posts and other people's? I understand that their posts are hidden, and their rep/derep doesn't show up on my control panel, but I'm sick of having to watch Arty Ziff (in particular) insult me randomly every few days. If he has a childish vendetta against me, fine, but there's an ignore list for a reason.

I would like to suggest that the ignore list to also remove the displaying of rep comments by those people on the ignore list.

Thanks,
Dan

I agree and posted a similar idea months ago. Not sure anyone reads this section.

I would like the "ignore" system to really ignore the person, I don't want to see their rep comments, don't want them to be able to rep or de-rep me. Ignore means ignore.

Especially with some of the "long standing" members like arty, grin, and (to a lesser extent) eric going on de-rep vendettas, it's stupid that we have to see them throw their tantrums.

I don't know if anyone reads this section or not. 10 reads a day seems like nothing, but then again there's only 1 or 2 people who I really care about reading this: the people who could actually fix it.

In the same vein, which is "add to your ignore list" not in the drop down when you click someone's name? If I wanted to ignore (for example) fishtop, I have to go to his profile and then click "add to ignore."
