Hi, I think that a blog aggregator like www.planetmysql.org for Devshed would be good and draw interest from users, I remember an attempt to have users post their thoughts (blog - like) here but it didn't last, maybe letting them blog on their own and aggregate interesting posts.

I completely agree; and, in fact, was about to suggest the same thing.
 These aggregators use Planet, and I think such a thing would be very interesting (well, except for the posts extracted from my blog feed  ).
