Can't post links to DTD's?
Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "(URL address blocked: See forum rules)"> Seems kind of strange to me... If my code puts the browser in standards compliance mode then someone testing it might just copy and paste it, throwing the browser into quirks mode and giving different results and adding confusion. Might want to adjust your URL blocker, although I didn't see anything in the rules forbidding links to any normal websites. |

This will have happened as you will have had less than 5 posts when you posted the code. URL and e-mail addresses won't show for new useres with less than 5 posts, it's part of the restricted user policy, here.

It occurs to me that DS could easily parse URLs for their root domain. If it's Google, php.net, W3C, etc., then it's obviously not directly promoting a spammer's site, and needn't be purged. Obviously this can only cover the most frequently helpful or necessary (like with Doctypes) sites, but it might help to stop the filter pissing off as many of the legitimate newbies.
