Hi Silvano and welcome to Dev Shed.
New members with less than 5 posts cannot post URL's. Are you wrapping your code within the code tags ? ([code]code goes here[/*code] but remove the *)

I'm also having the same problem trying to give some assistance in a post here...
I parsed the url's with spaces, replaced ".com" with ". c0m", changed the domain name to "yoursite" and removed the h t t p : / / and the 3 w's, so there's nothing in the post resembling a url but I am still getting the same message! I'm a moderator at SeoChat so I know about the policy thing but there it's possible to deselect "automatically parse links in posts" then the url is posted as text. Not only can I not see that option here but - like I said - removing all "resemblance" to any url by adding spaces and changing com to c0m doesn't help. It's not my url I want to post either - it's the guy who I'm trying to help!!! (Very frustrating). |

Most probably your post contains something that our pattern recognition algorithm triggers as a url, can you please let us know the contents you are trying to post You can submit an eticket with the contents or you can PM the contents. So we can check and see what causing our system to block that content. |

Hi thaminda... you sure get around
![]() I tried to duplicate it - the first time I tried the post was accepted - lol - I have no idea why it didn't work before - but it was probably me! ![]() === rofl - I quoted your post and it was refused because of the url in the quote ![]() |

We changed our hack to ignore URL check for new user when [ CODE ] tag present.
We are trying our best to keep spammers aways and keep our forums clean, hope this change will allow new people who posting codes with URLs to post without any issues. |

The private message issue is a tad annoying too, but it is understandable.
I have an issue identical to another user, and someone has a solution but PM'd part of it to another user. I want to contact the guy tho PM'd the part to see if I can see what it is also, but I cannot because I dont have enough posts. Oh well.. I'll keep looking around to see if there is anyone I can help, but most are under control. Thanks. |

I will say this: since we put in these new measures spam has been cut down considerably - we get much less reported spam posts than we used to j

If you have a legitimate reason to pm someone, post in the lounge/outhouse and one of the regs will do it for you as long as you explain said reason.
