Design

I just want to say I'm not particularly fond of the site's design. The graphics and colors are a little difficult to work with. I really like vB's default look! (And to be honest, the design and look have been keeping me from being a regular everyday participant here).

Also I hate the ads. They're annoying. I know the site's a lot of money to run, but I am a very active in a forum just as active as this forum that's paid for by one person alone and it has no ads at all.

Other than that, wonderful!

The admins have said before [a while ago - not sure if the offer
still stands ] that if someone comes up with better design they
would implement it for us ... so, knock yourself out.


If that's the case, then more fool you - surely the most important
thing in a site such as this is the quality of the contributions, not
the colour of the pages...?

Thanks. It actually keeps me because I don't think it flows. It's a bit difficult to navigate, but maybe that's because I'm so used to using vB as it is when it is fresh installed. The other forum I participate in has no ads and uses the plain old skin, which is a little different. Things aren't in the same place here as they are there so I'm simply not used to it.

Maybe one day I'll give the new design a shot... I'm currently doing a design for a web host... who knows, maybe they'll like it

Good users. Good content. Good admins. Decent mods. Reasonably unobtrusive ads. FREE site that doesn't look like total sh!t. Sorry but I'm not one to kick a gift horse in the mouth.

I agree, but this area here exists specifically for the purpose of "Suggestions and Feedback", so I'm giving it to them.

Surely they want suggestions and feedback otherwise this forum category wouldn't exist!
