The real "problem" of the reputation system is that people are using it as agree/disagree (because that's how the comments are written) instead of approve/disapprove (how the pop-up is written). It may be too late to change the mentality behind the sytem, though, but maybe it could be worded better? I'm thinking that a rep++ should mean you are saying the "post contributed positively to the community" and a rep-- means the "post detracted from the community" (in whatever way). Probably not the best way to word it, though. Does anyone else have any suggestions? JC, would you entertain changing the wording of the rep system at all or do you just want to leave it alone (and hence us stop bothering bitching about it)?

Isn't the wording just a template in vB, though? Everything else is, it seems. I just think it's odd that the popup says approve/disapprove and the comment in the thread says agree/disagree. It's working as an agree/disagree system right now, rather than approve/disapprove. It's obvious that it's not that big of a deal to you as long as you get page views, but I'm talking from a user perspective.
