I'm sure most of you are aware that we can't delete our own post/threads anymore, but editting too?

I can't edit anything on this thread anymore. Why are you taking away user power each day?

Can you edit the post you just made?

If so, it's probably because of:

a) A bug. Perhaps you're supposed to be able to edit, but permissions for that specific forum are screwed.

b) A time lock. Perhaps they don't want posts older than X days/months to get edited.

i checked the thread, and cant seem to find any editing problems. But them the mods have unrestricted edit/del powers. If you would like anything changed just holler.

Yes there is a time lock - 30 days for users to edit their own posts. Mods/admins are not restricted by this and can edit all posts with no time restrictions.

This was done because we recently had a user who did not like the Dev Shed post logo and decided to go and start editing ALL of his own posts with foul language etc.
