I think it makes a difference for new users and visitors but older users don't seem to of noticed much, we all just blocked them out anyhow one way or another (as mentioned here).
Is the new skin a permanant change or just for the St Patricks day period?

What a change ! I've not been here for a couple of weeks and at first I thought I was on the wrong site.
 It's a bit green, but I'll get used to it.

I don't like the super-wide layout now, without alternating row colors it's hard to tell which row is which. Especially when trying to click on threads based on reply counts or the "subscribed" icon, I find myself clicking the wrong one because the icon is 6" from the title of the thread. I would like it to either trim up and be narrow again, or add alternating colors so it's easier to track across the screen.
That's my $0.02, but it's already annoying me. Also, thanks SO much Tann for pointing out that the top logo looks like a vagina, that's easily forgotten. -Dan

I'm all for the alternating row idea, I've got a screen res of 1920x1280 and it's hard to tell which threads I've replied to or which threads have already been replied to etc. I've been manually selecting the entire row sometimes to see which lines up with which.
You're all welcome for the mind imagery relating to the top banner although personally I would of picked a more healthy color :¬) The rest of the theme has grown on me over the past few days, I quite like it now.

Still not thrilled about the theme, I liked the high contrast of the last theme. This whole "olive on light blue with a green header" thing is boring.
Also the search box has gotten smaller so now under the "vagina" it says "search her". How many more innuendos can we find? Tune in next week! -Dan
