Icons aren't working -- for me anyways
Didn't know if anyone else was having this prob, but I can't click on the icons without receiving an "Error on Page"... I tried the URL icon and the Quote icons in this post:
http://forums.devshed.com/mail-server-help-111/after-setting-up-of-postfix-397090.html Wasn't sure if it was just me or not.. figured I'd bring it up just in case cause this just started for me. If it is just me, then sorry for the post.. maybe I'll reboot my computer one of these days and see if that fixes it ![]() |

If I click reply to a post, and then click the little "Insert Hyperlink" icon or the "Wrap [QUOTE] tags around selected text" icons for example, it gives me an "Error on Page" at the bottom with a little document with a yellow explanation mark (which I always understood to be some sort of script error). But like I said... may just be me. |

Ah I don't use that editor
, but do they still work? If you have FF you can open the javascript console and see what the error is. In IE it should display the error if you click on the yellow explanation mark. |

I use IE.... when I click the yellow explanation mark, I receive: Problems with this Web page might prevent it frombeing displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar. Then when I click on "Show Details", I get this: Line: 238 Char: 2 Error: 'theform.message' is null or not an object Code: 0 URL: http://forums.devshed.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=1650057 Now I'm assuming the URL is just pointing to the current page I'm replying on, but figure the rest of the info might be of use... |

Check the top of the page. Is IE giving you a messagebar at the top of the page? I'm getting this: "This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this website, click here to allow scripted windows..." Once I click the bar and tell it to allow the windows, I get no more "Error on page". |

Nope.. don't see anything like that.. I'm assuming you're talking about where it'd normally ask about "Click here to install ActiveX" and "Click here to download file" ? |

when you open the page in ie, on the bottem of ie you see how many items are left to be downloaded, I'm guessing if they are not downloaded & you click on an icon you get the error. I get the same if I try to insert a hyperlink before they are all downloaded (whatever they are !?), ie I click on the add hyperlink icon (when its still downloading content to the page), and i dont get a prompt, but get errors (same as urself methinks). Try waiting until everything is downloaded and then test to see if you get the same problem. Let us know if you do or dont. Displeaser

Glad you got it working! I think mine is related to IE7. |

No problem mate. Quote:
Sounds like ie7 security mechanisms are getting in the way. If you want to you can disable this by going to tools-internet options-security, it should be somewhere under custom settings (dont have ie7 so cant tell you the exact setting). Be aware though that your turning off a security feature. Displeaser |
