igrep stick in all forums

May I suggest an igrep sticky in all forums, I know the thing is in the forum's entrance, but a good descriptive stick would help even more to encourage people to use igrep. Mainly newcomers. They have to look at it as a Google version of devshed network.

I started using it today and it's quite a fantastic tool, I wasn't aware of that.

I think a sticky in every forum would be too much - it'd just get in the way especially when there may be other stickies there. Some forums already have a lot of stickies, and adding one more would possibly become too many. As Axweildr says, there's already a igrep search in all the forums which I think is enough.

You saying there is a box that says "Search igrep - Powered by igrep" in the right hand column?

You're aware that most people will look at that as another Yahoo! search company ad being placed over devshed in exchange of revenues?

They gotta know what the search box will search for them.

yeah, but most people won't read a sticky about it just cos its there. If they came up with a tagline, about 80 characters and put that at the top of the site, then it would attract more attention.

Instead of a sticky, might be better as attention grabbing flash ad as per the main adboard in the header, on a low frequency cycle, since it isn't going to generate tangible revenue

Stickies? You think new users read stickies? Have you ever been to the PHP forum?

[edit] it would be great if we could unstick threads or hide the sticky section. I don't need those threads anymore. On my monitor with my browser window as large as it can get, viewing the PHP forum only shows one actual thread without having to scroll down. Half the page is the header/ads, and the other half are the stickies. Kind of annoying. The option for "full members" to hide the stickies would be great.
