![]() I've added it to my /.bash_profile for those who are lazy, try this in a terminal (assuming FAH is in ~/fah ) echo ~/fah/Fah*.exe >> ~/.bashrc

There is a desklet for FAH somewhere that i will download. I did have it startup with the GNOME sessions thing and it didnt show in the applet, but it made me wonder if it was doing anything because of this, i suspect it was just sleeping. Anyone have any ideas on that? (showed as 0% CPU, but then it does running from console...) I'm going to read up on packaging RPMs and submit adesklets to fedora extras. |

Ax and I were running neck and neck for a while but he's pulled out in a commanding lead now with ... what five processors now? Meanwhile I put it back on our shared computer but I doubt that'll get much done, and my regular home PC is in thermal downtime until our indian summer passes.

Yeah. San Francisco is like that. We get nice summer days in the middle of winter and the middle of summer is, to quote Mark Twain "The coldest winter I ever experienced was the summer I spent in San Francisco". It's really like that. It's a real problem for me though since I'm in an attic of a victorian home. Redwood. No insulation. Even on overcast days it usually gets considerably warmer up here than the rest of the house (or even outside). When the temps go above 70F outside it really gets uncomfortably hot in here. At 85F outside it exceeds 100F inside. That's why cooling and processor temp is such a concern of mine re: my thread recently in CPUs. Running FAH pushes the CPU temp up considerably compared to most other processing. Well, so do games. |
