Instant forum notification
I was just trying to subscribe to instant updates in the OPL (other programming languages) forum and noticed the option isn't there. I could have sworn it was there before, has it been removed?

(And yes, i'm aware in most forums that results in a full inbox, but it's quiet in OPL)

Are you sure there was an instant notification option when you subscribe to forums? I don't see one now and I'm pretty sure it's always been like that - I think daily and weekly are the only options available.

I just checked on a new vbulletin installation and there isn't an option there either.

Only in threads you can select instant subscription. For forum you have to select Daily or Weekly.

Oh, and is it just me or is instant e-mail notification not working for all topics? Lies, all lies! I don't want to hear it....

And there isn't much traphic there either, last 2 threads (admittedly they were more to do with building secure systems, rather than crypto, but still....) I created there just well, died......

A lot of people said they'd come, but did they? Sorta like the OPL forum....*sigh*, ah well, at least a new forums wasn't created or it, it would have looked really deserted then....

We checked instant notification system, it is working fine.

If you like to receive notification on every thread you are posting, simply follow these steps

UserCP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode

Change it to instant email notification.

If you are not receiving instant notification from the threads you are subscribed to, please let us know.
