I'm quite capable of assessing who to ignore on the fly, depending on the user's track record, stupidity quotient, and my general irritation levels. I don't need a list to manage it.
There is also a huge difference between a mod ignoring people, and a mod ignoring posts in his/her forums i.e. I mentally tune out 90% of the posts by a number of users ( no names! ), except if they're in forums I moderate, in which case I check them to make sure they're appropriate. Anyway - re: a thread ignore option - just ignore the thread. You know, with your brain and stuff?
