Is this new?
Things look a bit different today. There is all this usless crap in the lefthand column, and the buttons to start new threads and reply to threads seem to be just links now... Change is not always good...

That's just the 'alt' text for the icons that tell you the current
status of the thread[s]. Seems your browser just didn't properly load all of the images.

Anyways, the reason this thread is here is because once again, my install of Firefox had become irreparably corrupted (never had this problem with IE or Opera...), and I had to not just uninstall it, but track down its little bits and pieces in various folders (Application Data, Local Settings/Application Data) and nuke them by hand... Than reinstall... Pish. And why, on a tech web site, is "uninstall" not in the spell check dictionary? Last edited by Arty Ziff : September 2nd, 2006 at 10:00 PM. Reason: WHat's it to you? |
