Our reps our exponentially snowballing...when will the maddness end?

As you've noticed, the reps on devshed are increasing rapidly. As rep power of one user increases, it makes the other's reps increase, and so on. The 1 extra point per year and 1000 posts means nothing compared to the one from each 100 rep points. Soon, users will increase 1 rep power from every 4 or so agrees, then 3, then 2, then 1...

Will the admins ever dock the bonus given by rep score? In just a few more months, it'll be outragously high...

I don't think they should dock it completely, I think we should be able to choose how much to give out for a positive/negative _up to_ our total.

well, technically, they're pretty damn clever to get us to install this software on like 80% of computers worldwide, where they pretty much have control of the world now. Subliminal advertising, why not? They could do it. The software might be crap, but the business side of things is pretty darn clever.

I don't agree with it, but it's clever.
