Photoshop forum
Can the Photoshop forum be converted to a general image editor forum? I'm seeing more and more mention of the Gimp on the web. And as a Linux user, it's the only option available to me. Of course, I am aware of the other Gimp-friendly forums on the web, but as a Devshed member I'd rather keep my posts in-house.
Failing the generalization of the Photoshop forum, could a Gimp forum be added?

I would think that PSP and Gimp questions could probably be handled in that forum. I think I've seen a few but I don't look in there very often.

Thanks, Media. Although Gimp is not an Adobe product, many of the features are very similar (by design). And "what to do" questions (as opposed to "how to do" questions) should be the same no matted what editor is used.

On a similar note, I think some of the other forums should be re-organised too.
It would be more logical and useful for each forum to based on what an application does, rather than who published it. e.g. Consider the Flash forum: Quote:
Most of those (Dreamweaver, Homesite, Authorware, Contribute) would make more sense in the HTML programming forum. Fireworks and Freehand should go in the Imaging (Photoshop) forum. When people ask about those in the Flash forum they never get responses, because people familiar with those programs don't browse the Flash forum.
