Is there something up with the rep system ? Seems to have repped twice from the same person on the one post.

just happened to me again

The page froze so I assume it hadn't submitted and clicked again. And look what happened.

If this is something that happens to 1 member every two months or so we have 0 chance of tracking it down. Probably a packet being sent twice or something like that

If you set a `unique` composite key on repper and post id, then the database would deny the second rep from being stored. That would be a quick solution.

We added JavaScript on reputation popup window, now incase page get freeze it will block if anyone try to click submit again.

Might I suggest the implementation of LP's suggestion?

First, the javascript won't work if someone has javascript disabled,
And second, anybody that knows javascript can change whatever they want (including making the button clickable again).

Javascript seems to only be a short-term solution.

Most of the forums do not work if javascript is turned off

And if someone wants to put in the effot to edit the javascript to make the button clickable 2x then they deserve to do it

The forums work fine without javascript, but reputation doesn't, so you'd have to launch the give registration window and then disable javascript.

I suggested the minimal skin in another thread in here to tackle the site's poor browsability in minimal browsers.
