Search Length

Geez, of course there's going to be no matches if you cut out my entire search query... Given the nature of perl modules, searching for one is largely impossible without exceeding 12 letters, can we cut the limit please?

We cannot change the Vb search as it becomes way too resource intensive - you must use igrep.

I use igrep all the time to locate information and articles on our sites. The engine we use for our searches is very robust and sorts responses by relevancy.

And yes, the larger the search terms allowed, the more intensive the load on VB becomes. We arrived at this limit after much trial and error.

That may be true, but it's still not great. Try searching igrep for
the word 'brevity'.

Ok, I'll give you that you'll encounter the occasional forum thread, as your example, but to be honest "Brevity" isnt too distinct of a search. Its real power comes when you search for items like "Encapsulation in VB".

Well, I can get CGI::Application posts, or I can get flash tutorials, but apparently not both together. Doesn't it weight earlier words more like google?
