Another solution would be to condense ALL blobs into one blob. When someone gets the standard green, green, orange, dark blue accumulation, it should all go away and give 1 light blue blob or something. Then start back over with the greens. Then they can complete the entire cycle again, all the way up to the dark blues and condense them all into a second light blue, and so on.

I think instead of just adding more blobs on, it should work like money. You get 5 pennies and then that's the same as 1 nickel. Similarly, if you get five light green blobs, they should turn into 1 dark green blob. Then when you get 5 dark green blobs, they should turn into one orange blob.

The downside to that is that higher-repped people could have shorter series of blobs than lower-repped people. Newbies or those unfamiliar with the blobs would see the longer series and suppose higher experience. The colors mean nothing to those who don't read the FAQ's. It's not like monetary denomination that is printed directly on the coin.
