OK we will get it added to pms in a week or so, but I wouldnt be looking for any additional functionality to it as we have other more pressing concerns.

Now that there has been a chance to put the spell-checker through its paces, the grade is a "D". The case sensitivity, the lack of common abbreviations and acronyms, and the inability to create a personal word list make it more annoying than useful.

I could deal with the missing entries and the insane case sensitivity if I could build my own word list.

I hope you admin types can find a little time to add that feature.

You are LUCKY it exists at all, it was only put in because it was requested. And those that bitch about getting hacks they want should realise all it does is provide less incentive to recieve them in the future.

I don't believe I made an ad hominem attack on you and I see no reason for yours on me. If you took a comment on my use of a feature as a personal attack, that is your error, not mine.

I am not "lucky it exists at all". I am not here as a supplicant at your door. I am here as a member who is trying to pay forward against the times I will require help. Nor was I bitching. I stated succinctly the shortcomings I perceived and suggested a means of overcoming those shortcomings.

I had seen your previous posting that stated further improvements were unlikely due to other pressures and merely stated a hope that you (the collective administration) could find time for the spell checker again.
