Suggestion: last 3 posts in a thread.
When a thread goes over a set limit of posts it rolls over to another page. Many times I click on the last page of a thread and find that there is only one post showing. So I must open the previous page in a new window.
I think that it would be helpful if the page that display the posts would identify pages with under (for example) 3 posts, and if so, would append those final posts to the page. Another method would be to roll over pages at 25 threads, so that no page will be started with less than 5 posts.

Not a bad idea, but that's deep in the vB code I'd be thinking, why not go for 40ppp, same problem, but less of an issue?

40ppp seems to be a dial kit for Fiats. I imagine that you're referring to something else?

Ah, got ya. I'm already on 40 ppp. I actually considered doing newest posts first, but I do like reading in chronological order.

Sounds like a good idea - but, sometimes you need to go back further than the last 3 posts to find out what they are referring to if you know what I mean so would just be as much of a hassle as it is the now.

Well, three is enough for me if I am on top of a thread and only a post or two went by me since I last saw it. But five, or a user-configurable amount, would be nice.
Alternativly, a view that had the last x posts in chronological order would be great. |

I'm right with you on that. 40ppp is an absolute essential to read here, but it's always the one post that trips you up...
