Thank you DevShed members!
I've been a member here for almost two years now. DevShed has always been a resource I can turn to when I get unbearably stuck on a certain problem with Perl, Flash or more recently html. You guys have taught me a lot. I don't mean to single anyone out or leave people without credit (where plenty is due) but I would like to extend an even bigger thanks to Kravvitz. Kravvitz, you have helped a LOT of people including myself and you have my utmost respect and grattitude (dispite the poor spelling and grammer). You have even taken time to help me 1 on 1 in the past, and because of you I now practice better coding habbits (including the fact that I actually know what CSS is becasue of you!... and use it almost exclusivly now) and I am succesfully building my work resume for college.
I do not plan on going to college for web design, I have decided that the market stability (or lack there of) and the risk of outsourcing makes this profession a dangerous one to get into. I plan on going in for Information Security, however the knowledge I have gained here is priceless and will continue to benifit me for years to come. To show my grattitude, I will be helping out here a lot more (I used to, but then I just kinda sunk away from it) when I can. I just see too many people getting help and not enough credit where credit is due, so here it is, I hope this thread encourages everyone to continue helping the less knowledgable like sometimes myself. So once again, THANK YOU! ~Brendan Montpelier, Vermont Last edited by TwinChromeGlock : February 19th, 2006 at 11:08 PM. Reason: I don't think invalueble is a word... and if it is I don't think it's a good thing :-/ |

You're very welcome.
It's nice knowing how much my help is appreciated.Information Security... hmm, yeah, I would think that finding jobs doing that would not be difficult since that will continue to be very important with the growth of the Internet and World Wide Web. Knowing how to make web pages can be a good skill to have even if your primary interest is elsewhere in the IT and computer related industries. P.S. invaluable means valuable beyond estimation or priceless.

ah! so I was right when I wrote it... I don't exactly trust my vocab and I figured it would be better to have "priceless" incase "invaluable" ment that it didn't have any value
