User Notes

I was going to post this in Suggestions & Feedback, but it's not really a suggestion or feedback. Mods, feel free to move this thread if you feel it belongs elsewhere.

Question: what are user notes? I couldn't find info on them (I may be being useless) but on selecting it from the dropdown of another user's name I get:

On selecting it for my own user I get:

Yeah, we use them quite a lot.

It's just a way for mods to keep track of the users. If we see a user
misbehaving, we post a note, so that if they misbehave again in the
future, other mods can check and see if they've done it before, and
act accordingly..

It used to just be a link in the user's profile page, but it seems the
admins have added a link to the drop-down on everyone's usernam
so you all can see it. Not sure why it's visible to everyone though,

It's a way for the elitist scum they call "moderators" (Are they? Are they really? Do they "moderate"?) to talk trash, bad mouth, and generally be poopy... er, wait... Maybe I should delete this...

But seriously, I've always wondered about the calendar, and if it's not really used, why cant the link be removed? And in general, if something is unavailable to a user, wouldn't it be not too hard of a mod to make them invisible?

It used to be used, but then someone got the idea of spamming it!
They set up events in the public calnedar for every day ofthe year
so everyone got reminders with spam in. Pretty clever really!

It
was diabled cos of that. I have no idea why it is still visible. Mods
can still access/use it, but we never do...
