User Profile suggestion...
I just realized something that may be of help with this forum.
I'm wondering if there is any way of implementing a "resume" feature within members' user profiles? Basically, a place in the user profile where a member can type in a resume / CV (I'd suggest uploading, but I'm sure that would eat up precious server space pretty damn fast!). I was thinking, since we offer services where people can hire others, plus there seems to be quite a bit of knowledge being shared within the forum. Just a thought...

I'm not sure that would be a benefit to the forum. There are over 200,000 members and I can't see the majority of them wanting to look at a cv/resume. Would maybe only help in the 'Hire a Programmer' forum.

It's a slight spin-off of your idea, but we've already launched a site designed for that kind of thing. Check out IT Marketplace.

To be honest lads, I wouldn't be that interested in something like that, and the volume of script kiddies about today, an auction is probably a bad idea, as it will ultimately reflect badly upon your brand, not to mention giving users unrealistic expectations of what a good developer costs.
