User Ranks
I suggest, There should be a way to calculate ranks of users. (May the way already exists).
The rank of each user should be shown with/near/around the reputation of user.
Rank can be calculated with whatever the mods and gurus find better.

Many things can be consider
1. No. of posts
2. Reputation points
3. Number of agree(s) - disagree(s) etc..

User can see the progress of their contribution to devshed.
I think not a bad suggestion (newbie) .

It would be hard to rank almost 180,000 members. But, there is already something similar in place for the top 5 users and top 3 mods in these forums.

I know about top 5 users and top 3 mods, but ranking all is a different thing.
A lot of technical people here and I don't think it is much difficult to do so.
(Even if approx 2 lac members, it is not supposed to do it manually OR analyse manually.)
It can be done by applying some queries and some calculations on the already existing stats.(from DB)

If much hard to implement(I don't think so), then suggestion can be neglected.

Any kind of ranking system will be abused. Post count can be abused. Reputation can be abused. Conglomerations of them will be abused.

Just continue to become a contributing member and you'll realize who the experts are and aren't.

All these things are to be decided by the mods like you. I will ofcourse conitue to contribute (for myself). But still I don't think that the idea is bad and not applicable.
By the way what is "Conglomerations". I don't know what it means
