Question Weird forum error
OK, maybe it's just me. But when I jumped into the forums just now, the forum complained that I wasn't logged in. So I clicked on the yellow "log in here" bar at the top of the page, and I got this:

you mean the inlcusion of the thread title in the urls? yeah that would probably boost SEo.. same with the forum title... but thats why the need to include the key ... otherwise look ups would be painfully slow on a db of devsheds size.

This is a very accurate statement.

the name of the forum INSIDE the url helps from a seo standpoint but the variable is necessary otherwise DB lookup times would be intolerable.
