what happened to thread deletion tools?
I can't seem to delete even my own threads...

Please see this FAQ.

Users cannot any longer delete their own posts, for various reasons. If you need your thread removed for legitimate reasons, please contact a moderator of that forum, or one of the administrators via Esupport.
