    Problem with New Lines

Recently (late last week) I have encountered a problem entering new lines on the Devshed form. I am running Widows 7 and in both Firefox 38 and IE 11 the enter key appears to create a space rather than new line. This only happpens on Devshed. When I use other forums, there is no problem. In addition, if I create a properly formatted entry with Notepad, including new lines, then copy/paste into this forum, the new line character is also seemingly replaced by a space. I do not have Chrome so I have not tried that browser.

    Hey there,

I'll pass this on to our technical team for them to have a look at. I'm using Firefox 34 for Ubuntu on my machine and can't seem to replicate the issue. But when I go home tonight, I'll try looking at how the forums work on my Windows 8.1 laptop. Sometimes things that this machine can't replicate, my home machine can.

Is this happeninig in the quick reply bar, the advanced section, or both? Are you on a laptop or a desktop?

    Thanks!

It is happening on all forms that have free format text areas. It is a desktop.

Just happened to me, laptop with Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Firefox 37.0.2
The moon on the one hand, the dawn on the other:
The moon is my sister, the dawn is my brother.
The moon on my left and the dawn on my right.
My brother, good morning: my sister, good night.

Can see other have same issue.

I am written this with IE (11) to see if it was a FF (38) issue only.

Can tell I only have the issue with the VB4 default style layout.
If I switch to devshed_2014, it works fine.

Thanks guys! I hadn't heard of this only happening on VB4 default yet - I'll pass that along to our tech team. I'm sorry that the issue is persisting - our team is pretty snowed in with projects.

Its not limited to FF. As I said originally it is both FF and IE. I do not use Chrome so I can't say anything about that. I should also emphasize that this does not happen with Linux based versions of FF. I have not tried OS X.
