LIKES: Lots of tones. The search function. Adult section

DISLIKES: the site looks boring. Add a site logo or something. You need to pay for tones. Only a few people want to buy tones when they are available free. The tone categorys are wierd because The Beatles are NOT a category, they are a band. Same thing with Motown. Oh and change the category "heavy" to "metal" because that name suits better for that category.

BUGS: hmm... didnt see any for now but I didnt see a contact email address either, only a phone number. Do you actualy think that someone who doesnt live in uk will call there. That costs a lot.

Yes people need to pay for tones, sadly I need to eat and the local Tesco's manager won't let me fill my trolley for free......

We have to pay for our tones too hench a charge. Cummon £1.50 aint robbing people though is it when there are sites out there charging £4.50 a week for supposed free tones!

We do have some good free tones on there like Lola's theme, Ozone and the CTU phone from 24 - these are both bestsellers so people can't grumble really.

There's that many Beatles tones they warrant a catagory. Hey I'm in Liverpool anyway and getting wrecked at the Cavern this Friday night lol.....

As for turning Heavy into Metal, I hear what you're saying and might do something about it the next time I have a big database overhaul.

As for contact details, yeah good idea! Because we do reverse billed SMS ICSTIS state we need to put a contact number on there but I've made a contact us page now with our customer support email address too. You'd be surprised at how many calls we get each day from overseas, it just goes to show how expensive telecoms are in the UK, it's much cheaper to call the UK from the US than the other way around.

I'll mention Iced Earth to our tone producers and let you know if they add anything.

Which is pretty cool, it covers midi, mpegs, wavs and amr (true tone format) plus can handle streams.

Something is f****d then because my phone can only play midi and amr. No videos or mp3s oe whatever. Your thingy doesnt show right

that's what your phone told me it could accept.

Heres a wierd thing. My phone can download mp3s but it doesnt play em.

i just googled for your phones profile but coulnd't find the xml but i did find another site that had that handset listed as being able to take all the stuff your phone told me it could.

why can't all networks allow the phone to pass full data and things like the profile..... there's so much info available but the notworks / gateway just don't wanna make it all available to us. i've been surprised at how many mobile numbers are passed to us though as x-up-subno it seems some european networks aint so anal over this.....

i love the xml profiles..... maybe i need to get out more!

yeah it does. It adds more color to the site. Ive thought of re-opening my site again.


EDIT: where do you get your ringtones?

re ringtones, trade secret. i could tell you but i'd have to kill you.

but we do have distribution rights over the binaries so can either sell them or allow people to sell them through our reverse bill sms / premium rate lines and subract a fee per download from the revenues we then pay out.
