interfacing with msn/yahoo messenger
Hi,

I need to interface my php code with yahoo/msn IM.

I have a list of members and their msn/yahoo usernames and I want other members to see when they are online and send them an instant message.

How do I do this?

Have a look at Jabber, its an OpenSource messaging system and there is a PHP Class for it. You can link into Jabber servers, many of which provide MSN, ICQ, Yahoo and AOL gateways to enable you to communicate to those networks.
