Apple reports $290 million profit; 5.3 million iPods ship (MacCentral)

MacCentral - Apple Computer on Wednesday reported a profit of US$290 million for the fiscal second-quarter of 2005. The company said that 1,070,000 Macintosh units and 5,311,000 iPods were shipped during the quarter, which ended March 26, 2005.
