NewsFactor - Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) has taken the offensive again in the Web search engine wars with the launch of a new online-advertising platform. Called "adCenter," the new tool was unveiled Wednesday by CEO Steve Ballmer at a conference in Redmond.
