Cd to root level
How do I logout of the current user I am and get into the root level of my system?
Here's what it shows me in teh terminal window justinyoung:~ justinyoung$ I want to get above this level so I can make changes to my webserver I have running. |

or su -l root The second command also loads the environment for the user root.
