A very quick google, using bash scripts as a search term got me as far as here which may be a good place to look.
Remember, also, that Bourne and Korn shell scripts should run pretty much unmodified under the bash shell, which will expand your pool of resources. A lot of what you might wish to do may come down to OS and hardware in use. Sun, for example, have (or had, not been there for ages) a section of their site(s) called BigAdmin which hosted user contributed code and stuff which I have 'borrowed' from in the past when I needed to do something in Solaris and could not work out the best approach.
