Question cvs on hp-ux

Hello, we are trying to take over a cvs project from an out sourced project. The setup is as follows: Builds done with ANT are run on a Unix server.

The cvs repository resides on an W2K server.
The clients are using CVSNT and WinCVS.

When we try and run the build on the unix box we are getting:
---------------------------------------
cvs checkout: warning: failed to open /home/entrsupp/.cvspass for reading: No such file or directory
Fatal error, aborting.
Administrator: no such user
------------------------------
How does this '.cvspass' file get created?

It gets created when you first login to the CVS server (i.e.) when you execute a cvs login command. Are you doing that at all?

Do you know any good tutorials on how to setup cvsnt? I've just installed it (2.0.58d), but can't get it to work.
