    Data stage - unix


    Hi , in a datastage sequence , there is only one job and , once that job is completed in sequence , how do we know whether it has inserted any number of records or not through unix commands or shell script ? please help me out asap -sopinti

    Data stage is an ETL tool , and it Extract , Transforms and Loads the data using data warehousing concepts

    That's good to know. But, without knowing what commands it uses, in what environment, how it is scheduled, etc., it's not going to be possible to suggest a way to sort this out.
