Directory Security Issue

There's multiple pages accessing pictures that are kept inside a picture dir, and all the pages are outside that dir. I need the pages, any and every page, to be able to load the pictures when anyone with any ip goes to the page, but if they try to go into that dir where the pictures are it won't give them access.

How do I do this?

<Directory "/full/server/path/to/that/pic/dir">
Options -Indexes
</Directory>

If this is a question related to Apache, why posted it to the inappropriate forum?
If you asked about the consequence and possible security issues, your thread still doesn't fit here well but Security forum. But you asked how do i do this....

So this is an Apache question and not a Unix one? I didn't know.

There's another thing you didn't know. You already coss-posted to PHP forum, which is a serious violation against forum guideline in the first place.

I never cross posted. I took part of one, altered it, and posted it where someone suggested I post it.

You did because right at the 1st post of this thread you didn't mention this thread was supposed to be a followup to that thread in PHP forum.
Under no circumstance should both threads coexist. You need to delete the first thread before you can start a new and identical thread.
Since you are a newbie here, I don't blame you for not knowing the guidelines.
