I thought this was set using ifconfig and some argument, but apparently I was wrong. /Fjodor |

There is no generic ifconfig, even the 3 BSDs use different ones.
To view the supported media type of your NIC (say dc0) just type: ifconfig -m dc0 Once you find out the exact media type just append media to the command ifconfig then the type. |
