Find help
I am trying to find unsorted files in my working directory, and also am trying to find the shadow file. However unix doesnt bring anything up.

'unsorted' files - you will forgive me but ... huh? If you do an ls command it will return, by default, directory entries listed in order according to your collating sequence (probably alphabetic with upper case being dispalyed before lower case).
As for the shadow file - I assume you mean the file /etc/shadow? |
