How to take a heap dump of an AIX server?
Hello. We have an AIX server with IBM Java 1.4.2 and an Weblogic Server 8.1. I want to take a heap dump in any kind of format(hprof, phd..). I use kill -3 <Pid> but i take a java core file and not a heap dump (i read that you should take both by these command). Any idea of a proper command?
ps. I posted this question in Java thread but i took no answer so i believe that maybe someone that knows AIX maybe knows it! |
