ls command?

Hi,

my first post here in what looks like a great forum.

Anyways, my question is where I can get some info on how the "ls" command works. Like source code (if possible), or anything like that. Tryin to do some research on unix. thanks

Get usage of lscommand for unix is given there as

You can use man pages more for help.

on command line try as man ls

IT will give all informations of ls command
