ls of Directory shows empty, but du shows it isn't?
I've inherited a Solaris 7 system. When I enter a certain directory and run the ls command nothing shows up. Even when I try ls -a, I see nothing, not even ./ and ../
However, when I try du, I see the subdirectories, and then I can cd to any of the subdirectories and I can see the files within them with ls.
Can anyone explain why this is? And how I can list the files in this directory.
Thanks,
Cerbere
