php, Apache and sybase

i want to try php and sybase in unix platform so wat i need somemore to make it run?apache or other thing else

Any particuliar reason you would like to use sybase over postgre or mysql?

because currently the customer is using the sybase and they dont want to change to other database

SyBase easily ports to MySQL, which is free.
