pkgadd/Solaris10/zones
I have created a non global-zone on our Solaris 10 /x86 server. I have installed webmin on the global zone and able to use. Now the problem is adding the same application to the non global-zone (zone). Pl make a note of the following for your quick reference.
Both (global and non-globale zone) have seperate IP's. By default the webmin is installed under /opt in global zone and can be seen under the same directory in the non global-zone. From Sun's docs the command for adding application from the global zone (server on which it is installed first) to the non global-zone (zone) is ----------------------------------------------------------- If installing the package from a directory to which it has been copied, type: global# pkgadd -d disk1/image -Z package_name where disk1 is the location where the package was copied. ----------------------------------------------------------- Now I am trying to copy this from the global zone to non-globale zone and getting error. Can you focus on " disk1/image" and let me know the syntax. I tried using various paths. Thanks in advance # |
